Dexerto relays a claimed GTA 6 cast email dated to November 19

On September 20, 2026, Dexerto reported a claimed email to Grand Theft Auto VI performers. The date they may announce their involvement is still November 19th. That is launch day. Rockstar's Newswire already sets Thursday, November 19, 2026 as the release, and that page does not mention cast or an NDA.

Dexerto attributes the lines to GTA VI O'Clock's source, not a Rockstar post, and says Rockstar has not commented. Dexerto quotes that source's reminder:

We would like to remind everyone to please remember your NDA. The date you may announce your involvement is still November 19th.

If you have been matching voices and resumes for Jason and Lucia, the reported GTA 6 cast NDA dates when a performer may confirm the match. Performer posts and sit-downs stay shut, on this wording, until the game is for sale. A Rockstar credit is a different door, and the sentence does not mention it.

Speak day is the day you can buy it

That Thursday is already public. The Newswire says Grand Theft Auto VI releases that Thursday, and that the studio is sorry for adding time to the wait. It does not name the earlier date. Beside Dexerto's relay, the permission line is that same Thursday.

Dexerto reads the email, if accurate, as ruling out a pre-launch casting reveal, a trailer introducing the actors behind Jason and Lucia, and features on how they landed the roles. That is Dexerto's inference, not a cancelled marketing plan. The quoted line buys cast silence.

Brian Heder already got out

Dexerto reports the email allegedly followed Stephen Root telling the Associated Press he plays Brian Heder. In that account, the secret came out because too many people knew him from King of the Hill and knew his voice. Until a studio page says otherwise, Brian Heder is a part an actor described to a reporter.

Insider Gaming on September 21 headlines the email as claimed. Its body calls a voice actor officially confirmed, but that line is not a Rockstar confirmation. Dexerto says Rockstar has never officially confirmed a single cast member, with names coming from resumes, voice matching, and slips. An actor telling a reporter is not that credit. GTABase listed the item on September 22, bylined Joseph Poulos.

If the blackout had held, Root's comments would not be the story that allegedly prompted the reminder. A reminder, if real, follows a slip, which is evidence the gag can fail. Dexerto's source believes the note went to every performance role, leads included. That reach is the source's belief. It is not shown.

Jason and Lucia, still uncredited

Dexerto calls Manni L. Perez and Dylan Rourke the strongest candidates for Lucia and Jason, and notes Perez has denied involvement outright. That denial cuts against reading her as Lucia. It does not, by itself, prove an NDA. Wrong rumors produce the same quiet.

The page to watch is the Newswire launch note. A Rockstar page that names a performer before that Thursday would be a studio credit the email is not said to forbid. If Root's reported Brian Heder line stays the only pre-launch name in this trade copy, the reported gag held for everyone except the slip that allegedly triggered it.
