The two official slips — then the lock
Trailer 1 carried a 2025 window. In May 2025 Rockstar moved the game to 26 May 2026. On 6 November 2025 it moved again, to 19 November 2026, saying it needed more time to reach the polish players “expect and deserve.” Those are the official delays. The current date has not moved since that Newswire. Take-Two printed the same day on 24 June 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
