Six GTA VI album tracks are streaming two months before Leonida

Rockstar posted Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on 17 September 2026, with six of 34 original tracks streaming and the full record dated to the game's 19 November launch. Nothing official yet says those songs are Leonida radio.
On 17 September 2026 Rockstar posted Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Six of 34 original tracks hit streaming the same day. Vinyl and CD pre-orders opened with them.
The official GTA VI page now carries a music section under that title: a genre-defying artist roster with 34 original tracks that capture the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida. The same page names Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. The record shares the game's launch date on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Two months before anyone steals a car in Leonida, the only slice of GTA VI a player can actually press play on is music.

What you can use today is those six songs. The official GTA VI page confirms the album title, the 34-track count, and the roster framing. Creator coverage on drop day treated the post as a Rockstar announcement and tied it to the week's artwork teaser.
The page does not say any of those 34 tracks are Leonida radio. The copy is a mood line, not a station list. Players who skipped Vice City's period stations, or locked one FM in GTA V and dumped it mid-chase, already know the difference. A September playlist trains the skip reflex before the radio wheel exists.
Take-Two's investor news archive carries no album release. Newest items stop at a 10 September annual-meeting notice and early-September product posts.
Genre-defying artist roster
Rockstar's phrase is "genre-defying artist roster." Both arguments run on that one fact. One reading treats commissioned originals as the GTA IV and GTA V radio thesis: write the songs for the place, do not license last year's hits and call it a station. The other treats an un-genre roster as coverage, several markets on one release, not one Vice City temperature. Official copy does not settle which reading is correct.
Nobody has heard these tracks on a wanted-level chase. In GTA V you learned a station by surviving it, the song you mashed off, the one you left on for the Paleto drive. Six streaming tracks let you rehearse that taste early. They do not prove the songs sit on the in-game dial. If November's mix differs from September's playlist, the first radio sweep in Leonida is a bait-and-switch you trained yourself into.
The week's artwork teaser already had people listening for Vice City. Commenters on the official cover-art reveal called the teaser audio 80s-style Vice City music, a viewer-ear claim, not a production credit. One viewer wrote that GTA VI is "less a game and more a historical event."
19 November 2026
Twenty-eight of the 34 tracks are still unreleased. No station has been listed for any of them, and the rest have not been dated ahead of the record. The album's date is the game's date: 19 November 2026, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, per Rockstar's GTA VI page.
Vinyl and CD pre-orders are open while the game ships as a download code, next to the Ultimate Edition on the same storefront. No official physical price has been published. Collectors face stacked cost: a record you can hold, a game you cannot. Buy the physical edition for the music. Nothing confirmed says those 34 tracks are the radio.

19 November 2026 is the next known date: the remaining 28 tracks and GTA VI land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. What would settle placement is the first station list on Rockstar's GTA VI site. The fight those six songs already started is one Vice City temperature versus four markets sharing a dial.
