What Rockstar has actually put on the record
Nothing that looks like a wanted menu on the VI site. The official screenshot library captions vehicles, weapons, regions, and people. It does not caption a star meter. It does not caption a cop bulletin. Absence on Newswire is still the record for a printed HUD.
What the company did put on a tape: Trailer 1, 4 December 2023. Lucia Caminos is in Leonida Penitentiary. Line: “Do you know why you’re here?” / “Bad luck, I guess.” That is a prison, not a HUD. Trailer 2, 6 May 2025, is a failed score - gameplay and cutscenes captured in-game on PlayStation 5, per Rockstar. Bank job. Phil’s Ammu-Nation: “We got more guns than the law allows.” Law is in the story.

Six stars + Criminal Profile Reported
IGN sat with Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson. Eurogamer matches the description hunt. Our desk pass is /131. Tracker row: six-star wanted + Criminal Profile - cops learn clothes, face, and car; icons under the stars. This is Reported press - not a Newswire support article.
Dazed (via Kotaku, Eurogamer, Dexerto) also described pedestrians calling emergency services when someone walks a long gun through a plaza. Same press window. Same Reported stamp. Desk: /133.
- Wanted does not start until a witness sees the crime or an alarm trips. A hot area can stay marked after you leave.
- Six stars return after GTA 5’s five. One star is easy to shed. Six is high-chaos getaway.
- Cops learn what you look like and what you are wearing. Icons under the stars show which of those they have.
- Changing hair drops the appearance icon. A new hat or glasses is not enough for clothes - you need a full outfit. Clean set in the trunk matters.
- Masks during the crime, then off for the escape, can keep a face description off the radio even if CCTV sees you.
- They can know the car. Dumping it and taking another cuts heat. If the report is a couple, you can split.
Players already ask whether six stars means military or NOOSE. IGN only called six-star heat the classic chaos getaway. It did not name tanks or a federal unit. That guess stays off this page and off the tracker as invent.
No police radar blips + telematics Reported
Extended Look desk read, 28 August: no police radar blips on the minimap. Pursuits are line-of-sight, not flashing cones. Same desk pass flags factory telematics on modern cars - a connected ride can keep a trail, so dump and swap. Tracker + magazine: /145 · /147. Not a chop-shop GPS scrambler list. Not an OnStar marketing card.
