Update, 14 October 2026:

• Official Take-Two reports its July–September quarter on Monday 9 November, after the market close. The call is at 4:30 p.m. ET, the last one before launch.
• Reported GamesBeat, citing four unnamed industry sources, says a PC version is planned for January–March 2027. Rockstar has not commented. There is still no official PC date.
• Reported Rob Nelson told creator Davy Jones on 28 August there is no full first-person mode at launch. First-person is limited to scoped aiming and the phone.
• Store listing Germany and Japan are rated now: USK 18 on the PlayStation Store DE and CERO Z on the PlayStation Store JP (re-checked 20 October). Both read pending on 14 October. Brazil’s store now shows ClassInd 18+.
• Reported Miami Beach’s beach-chair deal is still unsigned and will most likely miss its 15 October start. Official Miami-Dade’s 20 October agenda and minutes list no GTA 6 item, so that vote has not happened.
• Launch stays 19 November 2026, 12:00 a.m. ET per US store listings.

What Rockstar has actually printed

Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval are the dual protagonists. Rockstar’s public synopsis: an easy score goes wrong and they end up on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, inside a conspiracy across Leonida. Lucia is framed as a recently released Leonida Penitentiary inmate; Jason as an ex-Army Keys runner. Other names on the official site include Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, and Brian Heder — a cast list, not a plot bible.

Leonida is Florida with the serial numbers filed off. Public materials and Trailer 2 show Vice City plus Grassrivers, the Leonida Keys, Ambrosia, Mount Kalaga National Park, and Port Gellhorn. Rockstar calls the project a single-player experience and “the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.” That is marketing language with a date attached, not a promise of Online on day one.

Keep the Bonnie-and-Clyde nickname in the rumor column. Rockstar’s words are couple, score, conspiracy, sun.

How we got to 19 November

Trailer 1 (4 December 2023) carried a 2025 window. In May 2025 Rockstar moved to 26 May 2026. In early November 2025 it moved again to 19 November 2026, citing polish players “expect and deserve.” Those are the official slips. Folklore about firings as the cause of the second delay is not a Rockstar press release — treat it as context, not proof.

Strauss Zelnick has kept repeating November 2026 in investor settings. Until Rockstar prints a new date, the clock on this site stays 19 November.

Money, boxes, and the week before launch

Standard is US$79.99. Ultimate is US$99.99 and digital-only: vehicles, weapons, apparel, shops, and a compound threaded through Jason and Lucia’s story. You can upgrade later after redeeming Standard. Physical retail is a download code in the box, not a Blu-ray — boxes support pre-load from 12 November. Every purchase before about 20 November includes the Vintage Vice City Pack; digital pre-orders also get a month of GTA+ (that month is for GTA Online / classics, not a VI multiplayer unlock).

Trailers and the Extended Look

Two cinematic trailers exist. Trailer 2 was cutscenes and gameplay Rockstar said were captured on a PlayStation 5. The Extended Look (27 August 2026) is the long gameplay/presentation beat — Netflix earlier in the US afternoon ET, official YouTube later that night. It is not a third trailer and it is not a review.

PC, Online, and other honest blanks

Rockstar has not announced a PC date. The September Mod Guidelines update does not change that sentence. Console-first is deliberate Take-Two language (“core consumer”). History says wait months after console — not a calendar invite. GTA Online for VI is not announced; the launch SKU language is single-player. Install size is still unpublished. Map square miles are fan work until the game loads; the only multiplier on record is Garbut’s “about twice GTA V” to Game Informer (Reported).

The 2022 leak, without making it the review

September 2022 put unfinished footage on the internet. Rockstar confirmed a network intrusion. Early builds are not the disc. If you learned Lucia’s name from stolen Slack, you learned it the wrong way — the official introduction was December 2023. We do not host leak video.

Play the games that taught Rockstar a city, a state, and a heist. Then, in November, see what they kept. Until 19 November the official story is still short: the deck is stacked, the score goes wrong, and they have each other. That is enough to print. The rest is weather.

Official No new confirmed news. We checked Rockstar, Take-Two and the major outlets for 24 and 25 October and found no new GTA VI announcement. The release date is unchanged: 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (Rockstar Newswire).

Has Miami-Dade set a new date for the Rockstar vote?

Official Not yet. As of 25 October, the county’s Board of County Commissioners agenda list shows 20 October 2026 as the latest agenda, and no newer meeting agenda is posted.

Did Miami-Dade vote on GTA 6 on 20 October?

Official No. The county’s official agenda and the Clerk’s draft minutes for the 20 October 2026 commission meeting list no Rockstar or GTA 6 item. Reported On 6 October, commissioners put off a vote on letting the mayor negotiate an airport, port and transit deal with Rockstar, and voted that any GTA deal over US$1 million must come back to the board, per the Miami Herald. The US$975,000 Kaseya Center sign deal was under that limit. When the item returns is Not confirmed.

Is GTA 6 on TV now?

Reported Polygon (23 October) reports two TV cuts of the Launch Trailer airing on NBC: 30 seconds and 90 seconds. The 90-second cut drops the “plays best on PS5” card. Neither shows the Xbox logo.

Can you buy a real Burger Shot meal?

Reported Yes, at the HEAT’s arena. VGC (22 October) reports Burger Shot and Cluckin’ Bell food stands inside the Kaseya Center in Miami. It says the Burger Shot is a rebranded Skinny Louie’s.

Did the store listings change?

Store listing No. Re-checked 24 October: the US PlayStation Store lists US$79.99 Standard (with “7-Day Pre-load”, so pre-load from 12 November) and US$99.99 Ultimate, and unlocks at 12:00 a.m. ET on 19 November. The US Xbox Store lists 19 November from US$79.99. Official Rockstar posted no new GTA 6 news from 21 to 24 October; its posts were GTA Online and Red Dead Online Halloween updates.

What is the newest official video?

Is GTA 6 rated in South Korea?

Reported Yes, adults only. Yonhap reported that the Game Content Rating Board (GCRB) rated it 청소년이용불가 (not for minors) on 16 October 2026, which keeps the 19 November Korean launch on track. Store listing The PlayStation Store KR shows “GRAC 19+” with Crime, Drugs, Sexual Content, language and violence descriptors, at ₩89,800 Standard and ₩112,800 Ultimate (read 20 October). Is GTA 6 eligible for The Game Awards 2026?

Official Yes, on the dates. The Game Awards FAQ: games must be “commercially available to customers on or before Friday, November 20, 2026, at 9 p.m. PT” (12:00 a.m. ET on 21 November). GTA 6 launches 19 November. The FAQ also says producer Geoff Keighley “is not a member of the jury and does not vote on the nominees or winners.” Whether the jury nominates it is Not confirmed. What is “A Night in Vice City”?

Official The Miami HEAT host “A Night in Vice City” at Kaseya Center on 18 November 2026 at 7:00 p.m. ET, the night before launch, on a Vice City court in new uniforms. More: HEAT night.

Why do some GTA 6 billboards have no guns?

Reported Metro reported on 16 October that street versions of the key art in Paris, Times Square, on a Chicago bus and at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami leave out the guns shown in the official artwork. Rockstar has not explained it Not confirmed. More: Marketing tracker.
