Official No new confirmed news. We checked Rockstar, Take-Two and the major outlets for 24 and 25 October and found no new GTA VI announcement. The release date is unchanged: 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (Rockstar Newswire).
Has Miami-Dade set a new date for the Rockstar vote?
Official Not yet. As of 25 October, the county’s Board of County Commissioners agenda list shows 20 October 2026 as the latest agenda, and no newer meeting agenda is posted.

Did Miami-Dade vote on GTA 6 on 20 October?
Official No. The county’s official agenda and the Clerk’s draft minutes for the 20 October 2026 commission meeting list no Rockstar or GTA 6 item. Reported On 6 October, commissioners put off a vote on letting the mayor negotiate an airport, port and transit deal with Rockstar, and voted that any GTA deal over US$1 million must come back to the board, per the Miami Herald. The US$975,000 Kaseya Center sign deal was under that limit. When the item returns is Not confirmed.
Is GTA 6 on TV now?
Reported Polygon (23 October) reports two TV cuts of the Launch Trailer airing on NBC: 30 seconds and 90 seconds. The 90-second cut drops the “plays best on PS5” card. Neither shows the Xbox logo.
Can you buy a real Burger Shot meal?
Reported Yes, at the HEAT’s arena. VGC (22 October) reports Burger Shot and Cluckin’ Bell food stands inside the Kaseya Center in Miami. It says the Burger Shot is a rebranded Skinny Louie’s.
Did the store listings change?
Store listing No. Re-checked 24 October: the US PlayStation Store lists US$79.99 Standard (with “7-Day Pre-load”, so pre-load from 12 November) and US$99.99 Ultimate, and unlocks at 12:00 a.m. ET on 19 November. The US Xbox Store lists 19 November from US$79.99. Official Rockstar posted no new GTA 6 news from 21 to 24 October; its posts were GTA Online and Red Dead Online Halloween updates.

Is GTA 6 eligible for The Game Awards 2026?
Official Yes, on the dates. The Game Awards FAQ: games must be “commercially available to customers on or before Friday, November 20, 2026, at 9 p.m. PT” (12:00 a.m. ET on 21 November). GTA 6 launches 19 November. The FAQ also says producer Geoff Keighley “is not a member of the jury and does not vote on the nominees or winners.” Whether the jury nominates it is Not confirmed.
