Download date ≠ play date
nSay it out loud. Pre-load week pulls the files onto your SSD. The story stays locked until 19 November. A progress bar on the 12th is not Lucia and Jason. If a streamer screams “we’re in,” ask which Newswire they are reading.
nRest-mode auto-download tip
nSet the console to keep pulling while you sleep. PS5: rest mode with Stay Connected to the Internet, plus Automatic Downloads. Xbox Series X|S: Instant-on so queue downloads can finish in standby. Wire the box if you can. Full storage math and Series S caution: storage.
nPhysical code-in-box still needs the download
nOfficial: the box holds a download code, not a disc. Boxes go on sale from about 12 November so you can redeem and start the same pre-load. Cardboard does not skip the pipe. Same unpublished install hole as digital. Ownership anger is not evidence a playable disc SKU exists. Full card: boxed copy.

nWhat the Vintage pack actually is
nRockstar’s list: a ’55 Vapid Stanier, a Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, vintage outfits and hairstyles for both leads, and a tropical weapon pattern they tied to the 2002 game. Digital pre-orders also include a month of GTA+. That GTA+ line is for digital. It is not a promise the boxed code includes the same month.
