GTA 6 Is Not on PS4 or Xbox One
The launch list is two consoles. Last-gen is not on it. Absence is the record, not a never-quote.
No. GTA 6 is not listed for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Rockstar named two boxes: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Launch is Thursday, 19 November 2026. That pairing has not changed since Trailer 1. There is no last-gen SKU on the official sheet. Desk pass: 6 September 2026.
The launch list
Take-Two printed it on 24 June 2026: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Trailer 1 already named that pairing. The current date locked on 6 November 2025. Two consoles. Not four. The living hardware card is platforms. The compact sheet is what’s confirmed.

A download-code box is not last-gen support
Official: a download code in the box. No disc. The box goes on sale from 12 November so you can pre-load. You still need a current-gen console — PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S — and the same unpublished storage as a digital copy. A cardboard sleeve is not last-gen support. The shop card is boxed copy.
Pre-load still needs the same console
Digital pre-load is 12 November 2026, local midnight. You still need a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series X|S. A download date is not a last-gen port. You cannot start the story on the 12th. Launch is still the 19th. The November card is the pre-load checklist.

Switch listings are a different hole
Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 are also not on the official launch list. A French retailer product page that tagged GTA 6 for Switch 2 is Unverified — our desk write-up is /471. That is not a Rockstar SKU. It is not a Take-Two press line. Do not mix a retailer scrape with last-gen absence. Both stay off the printed sheet until Newswire says otherwise. PC is a different hole
PC is also not on the official launch list. There is no date. There is no min/rec table. That hole lives on system requirements and GTA 6 on PC. This page is last-gen. Do not mix the two blanks.
