GTA 6 GTA+: free month is GTA Online, not VI
Digital pre-orders of Grand Theft Auto VI include one month of GTA+. That membership is the existing GTA V / GTA Online product. It is not a Vice City multiplayer pass. Take-Two printed the offer on 24 June 2026. Microsoft’s Xbox store printed the redeem rules on the listing we fetched. PlayStation Support printed a claim-by date: 31 March 2027.
The locker sheet is still editions. The shop page is the pre-order guide. Launch mode — single-player — lives on what’s confirmed.

The sentence Take-Two actually printed
The 24 June 2026 pre-order release puts the Vintage Vice City Pack on every qualifying buy before 20 November. Then it adds, for digital pre-orders, “a free month of GTA+.” The company called that membership “the best way to get the most out of the ever-evolving world of GTA Online,” and said it is “instantly redeemable so that players can jump into Grand Theft Auto V and other classic Rockstar titles as part of the GTA+ Games Library.”
Read that twice. The month is for the game that already exists. The library is Rockstar’s current catalog. The new story is still a November single-player disc-less download.

Who gets the month, as printed
Take-Two: digital pre-orders. Rockstar Support’s editions article, the same sheet we already use on the locker page, lists one month of GTA+ Membership with digital pre-orders and digital purchases of Standard or Ultimate before 20 November 2026. The Xbox listing we fetched says a purchase prior to 20 November receives the Vintage pack and one month of GTA+. PlayStation Support’s US offer page says the month can be claimed by new, lapsed, and existing subscribers by 31 March 2027, on a digital Standard or Ultimate buy before 20 November 2026, once per account. Existing GTA+ members on that store can stack the month. We do not have a printed PC claim window.
The boxed code is a different line. Take-Two put GTA+ on digital pre-orders. Vintage can ride with a physical pre-order. GTA+ is the digital line.

What GTA+ is, when you are not talking about November
GTA+ is Rockstar’s monthly membership for the current service. The Rockstar Store page for the membership describes GTA Online benefits and a Games Library. The store copy we fetched names a recurring GTA$500,000 deposit into the Maze Bank account, member Shark Cards, The Vinewood Club, and that Games Library. It also says memberships auto-renew monthly at the regular price until canceled.
Those are GTA+ terms on the membership page. They are not a second Take-Two paragraph about the VI complimentary month. Regional storefronts set their own currency. We are not converting a monthly price for you, and we are not writing “the free month is worth X dollars.”

Launch is still single-player
The same 24 June release calls Grand Theft Auto VI “a single-player experience.” The Xbox listing repeats it. A free month of a GTA V membership is how they sell the wait. It is not a hidden Online 2 announcement. Rockstar has not published a GTA VI multiplayer mode, a successor SKU, or a sunset date for the current GTA Online. The dedicated card is GTA 6 Online.
If someone is selling “GTA+ for GTA 6” as a file, or “early Online access,” they are selling you a problem. There is no official early access. Pre-load on 12 November is a download date, not a play date.
