GTA 6 physical copy is a download code, not a disc
The box is real. The Blu-ray is not. Type the code from 12 November; play on 19 November.
The boxed product is a download code, not a playable Blu-ray. Take-Two printed that on 24 June 2026. You leave the shop with a box. You still download the game.
The box goes on sale from 12 November 2026 so you can type the code and pre-load. Pre-load is a download. It is not play. Play starts Thursday, 19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only.

What is actually in the box
A cardboard sleeve. A download code. That is the physical product Take-Two printed on 24 June 2026. There is no playable disc. Anger about ownership is not evidence a Blu-ray SKU exists.
You still need a current-gen console: PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. The cardboard is not a PlayStation 4 SKU. It is not an Xbox One SKU. Last-gen is not on the list: PS4 / Xbox One.

When you type the code, and when you play
The box goes on sale from 12 November 2026 so you can enter the code and start the same download a digital copy would start that day. Digital pre-load is local midnight on the 12th. A storefront queue is not early access. You cannot start the story on the 12th.
Launch is Thursday, 19 November 2026. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That pairing has been on every official date sheet since Trailer 1. The current date locked on 6 November 2025. Official: Newswire, 6 November 2025 · VI site.

Vintage pack, and the US Take-Two sheet
Purchases before 20 November 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack as described. After that date, it is not part of the offer as described. Physical Standard pre-orders include the pack with the download code. A month of GTA+ is the digital pre-order line. It is not a promise the boxed code includes the same month. The locker sheet is editions.
Take-Two’s 24 June 2026 sheet is in US dollars: Standard US$79.99, Ultimate US$99.99. That is the US Take-Two sheet. It is not a local sticker we fetched this pass. Support says there is no physical Ultimate Edition. The boxed SKU is Standard. Standard owners who want the Ultimate locker buy the Upgrade after the code is used. Regional storefronts set their own currency. We are not converting them.
What a shop night is not
Rockstar did not print a midnight in-store unlock as Newswire. A queue outside a retailer is that retailer’s poster, not a Rockstar hour.
Take-Two printed “not yet rated” on 24 June 2026. GTA V was PEGI 18. That is V.
