- Official Take-Two reports its July–September quarter on Monday 9 November, after the market close. The call is at 4:30 p.m. ET, the last one before launch.
- Reported GamesBeat, citing four unnamed industry sources, says a PC version is planned for January–March 2027. Rockstar has not commented. There is still no official PC date.
- Reported Rob Nelson told creator Davy Jones on 28 August there is no full first-person mode at launch. First-person is limited to scoped aiming and the phone.
- Store listing Germany and Japan are rated now: USK 18 on the PlayStation Store DE and CERO Z on the PlayStation Store JP (re-checked 20 October). Both read pending on 14 October. Brazil’s store now shows ClassInd 18+.

When can I play on PC?
No official PC date, price, or store page. The launch list is PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Anyone naming a year after launch is guessing out loud. Take-Two has said Rockstar starts on console. That is publisher language. It is not a window.
Reported On 13 October 2026 GamesBeat reported, citing four unnamed industry sources, that GTA 6 is planned for PC “within the first three months of 2027.” Rockstar did not comment. Around 21 September 2026 Rockstar updated its Mod Guidelines: no expanding or rewriting official stories, characters, or missions; no cross-title IP mashups; multiplayer mods only through Rockstar’s Creator Platform (or separate permission); monetization restricted. On 2 October 2026 the Miami HEAT and Rockstar Games announced A Night in Vice City: Wednesday 18 November, 7:00 p.m. ET, the HEAT play the Milwaukee Bucks as “Vice City” at Kaseya Center, on ESPN nationally and Local 10 in South Florida. A one-night court and a never-worn uniform are promised; neither has been shown. The “Welcome to Vice City” roof sign was lit on 1 October. It is a basketball game on launch eve, not an in-game drop or a confirmed trailer slot.

Is there a disc in the box?
Official: a download code. No disc. The box goes on sale from 12 November so you can pre-load. That is already a fight about ownership. It is not evidence a playable disc edition exists.
How big is the download?
Rockstar has not published an install size. Treat 100, 150, 200, 300, and 676 GB figures as unofficial. A week of pre-load is not a gigabyte count.
Is Ultimate worth the extra $20?
Official extras are listed: more clothing, vehicles, weapons, and “action threaded across” Jason and Lucia’s story. There is no mission list for that last phrase. Standard is US$79.99. Ultimate is US$99.99. We do not rank them.

Is the $399.99 Vice City Collection a collector’s edition with the game?
No game inside. Official. On 24 September 2026 the Rockstar Store opened pre-orders for The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection: US$399.99 (UK £349.99 per press, Reported), eleven items themed on the in-game TV show Macca the Gator — a figure, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a New Era snapback, a Leonida Keys crossbody bag, pins, stickers, a shot glass, and a double-sided poster with a map of Leonida on the back. Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately. It ships from 19 November, one per customer while supplies last, shipping extra. Press matched it to the black box in the Mexico packaging photos. It is still not a third game edition: the game is Standard US$79.99 or Ultimate US$99.99, and the physical box is a code. Official Take-Two’s CEO told shareholders on 17 September: “we’re launching GTA VI as a single player experience on two major platforms. What is the GTA 6 age rating?
Official (ESRB): Grand Theft Auto VI is rated M for Mature 17+ on ESRB.org, with Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Mature Humor, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, and Use of Drugs and Alcohol, plus In-Game Purchases. The US PlayStation and Xbox stores show the same badge. The ESRB has not posted its longer rating summary yet. Take-Two’s 24 June line said the game had no rating yet; that was true then and is out of date now.
Did PlayStation already confirm Mature 17+?
The ESRB did. The US PlayStation Store and Xbox Store show an ESRB Mature 17+ badge, and the ESRB.org game page matches. The store label “In-Game Purchases” is a ratings label, not a Rockstar cash-shop announcement.

On the store, yes. On PEGI’s own site, not yet. PEGI not certified: a PEGI.info search on 7 October 2026 returns “Found 0 results.” But the PlayStation Store in the UK and 14 more European countries shows a PEGI 18 badge (re-checked 14 October) with Drugs, Extreme Violence, Nudity and Sex descriptors (Store listing). Can you cancel a GTA 6 pre-order?
Official Yes, under each store’s own policy. PlayStation Store refunds a digital pre-order paid more than 14 days before launch any time before release, but only if you have not started the download, and that includes the pre-load from 12 November. Microsoft Store lets you cancel from your order history; if you were already billed, it is processed as a refund.
Is there a GTA 6 pre-order bonus?
Official Every edition bought before 20 November gets the Vintage Vice City Pack. Digital pre-orders on PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store also include one free month of GTA+, which is for GTA Online on GTA V, not GTA VI.
Can I pre-order GTA 6 on PC?

That is a developer quote in a magazine, not a measurement — there are still no official square miles. The only Rockstar map art is the souvenir poster in the Vice City Collection (24 Sep), with no scale. Six named regions: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park. Tour: Leonida, region by region.

No wardrobe bible. Official screenshot captions name Stock 305 Clothing Store, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Electric Fang Tattoo, Vice City Style, Goodtime Gear, and Vintage Vice City Outfits and Hairstyles. Those match the editions locker lines that are clothes. Wiki piece names stay unofficial.
Has Rockstar published a GTA 6 safehouse map?
No property bible. The editions locker and the screenshot library name Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles. Captions inside that set name a Dinka Enduro Motorcycle and a Crest Kayak. Will GTA 6 have first-person?
Reported - No full first-person mode at launch. Rob Nelson, Rockstar North co-studio head, told creator Davy Jones on 28 August 2026 that the game is played in third person; first-person views are limited to scoped weapon aiming and the phone (via VICE and TweakTown). Rockstar has not printed a camera card.
Does GTA 6 still use the GTA V HUD?
Reported - IGN from the Rockstar North visit: contextual object prompts, an in-world smartphone instead of a 2D overlay, and the minimap recedes in cinematic shots. The colorful weapon wheel is community taste, not a Newswire card. Rockstar has not printed a UI bible.

Does the “official mapping community” say the leaked map is 100% real?
That claim is unofficial. Rockstar’s one piece of map art — the Vice City Collection poster — has no scale, and fans say it does not line up cleanly with the leaked map (Reported). There are no official square miles; “about twice GTA V” is Aaron Garbut’s line to Game Informer (Reported), not a fan map’s. Rockstar has published six named regions: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park. A mapping Discord is not the Newswire.
Is the scale “bigger than it seems”?
The only multiplier on record is Aaron Garbut’s “about twice the size of GTA V” to Game Informer (Reported). Rockstar printed no scale and no square miles. Anything bigger than that is a circulating file or a feeling. See map size.
Where is Lucia in these leaks?
Official trailers show Lucia Caminos. The circulating August clips are Jason-heavy. That does not mean she was cut. It means the person with the files has Jason footage, or this slice of the story is Jason alone. Absence in a leak is not a plot point.

Reported Yes, adults only. Yonhap reported that the Game Content Rating Board (GCRB) rated it 청소년이용불가 (not for minors) on 16 October 2026, which keeps the 19 November Korean launch on track. Store listing The PlayStation Store KR shows “GRAC 19+” with Crime, Drugs, Sexual Content, language and violence descriptors, at ₩89,800 Standard and ₩112,800 Ultimate (read 20 October). Is GTA 6 eligible for The Game Awards 2026?
Official Yes, on the dates. The Game Awards FAQ: games must be “commercially available to customers on or before Friday, November 20, 2026, at 9 p.m. PT” (12:00 a.m. ET on 21 November). GTA 6 launches 19 November. The FAQ also says producer Geoff Keighley “is not a member of the jury and does not vote on the nominees or winners.” Whether the jury nominates it is Not confirmed. What did Jason Schreier add after his Bloomberg story?
Reported In a 19 October YouTube video (Schreier’s video), Schreier said Rockstar wanted a weapon system “more like Red Dead” and spent “months, if not years, trying a million different things that would replace the weapon wheel”, then went back to a weapon wheel, per TechRadar. Is the Miami Seaquarium in GTA 6?
Official An 8 October screenshot on rockstargames.com/VI shows a highway sign that reads “Vice City Oceanarium ENTRANCE”. Reported Insider Gaming suggested a golden dome in the same shot may be the Oceanarium; the real Miami Seaquarium on Virginia Key, with its own golden dome, closed on 12 October 2025 after 70 years (Miami Herald).
