GTA 6 Online is not announced — launch is single-player
Rockstar has not announced GTA 6 Online. Not GTA Online 2. Not a GTA+ plan for Vice City. No date. No map. No shark cards for a new service. Current GTA Online is Grand Theft Auto V. Extended Look (27 Aug) did not print a lobby either. Desk stamp: 13 September 2026. Still not announced. Glasgow tribunal filings mention an online 32-player format as confidential talk — Reported, not a Newswire Online card. A heist roster with a year on it is somebody else’s homework.
What the June card actually printed
Take-Two, 24 June 2026: Grand Theft Auto VI “features a single-player experience set in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.” The Xbox store listing we fetch tags the game Single player and repeats the same sentence. IGN quoted a PlayStation Store FAQ with the same answer: Grand Theft Auto 6 is a single-player experience.

That is launch-SKU language. It is not a promise that an online mode will never exist. It is not a date. It is not a successor to GTA Online. Do not upgrade silence into a second SKU.
GTA 6 Online is not on that list
There is no official GTA 6 Online. There is no official GTA Online 2. There is no official VI heist board, business list, or shark-card menu. Store pages for the November game do not sell a multiplayer mode. Anyone naming a lobby, a rank reset, or a free-to-play window is guessing out loud.

GTA+ is GTA V
Digital pre-orders of VI include one free month of GTA+. Take-Two called that membership “the best way to get the most out of the ever-evolving world of GTA Online,” instantly redeemable so players can jump into Grand Theft Auto V and other titles in the GTA+ Games Library. Read it twice. The month is for the game that already exists. It is not a Vice City multiplayer pass. The dedicated membership card is GTA+.
The locker sheet — Standard US$79.99, Ultimate US$99.99, Vintage Vice City Pack on buys before 20 November 2026 — lives on editions. Those are console editions. They do not grow an Online 2.
V’s Online is not a VI calendar
Grand Theft Auto V hit consoles in 2013 as a single-player disc. GTA Online followed about two weeks later, and that gap was announced. This game has no such gap on paper. Pattern-matching is how rumor pages get a date. It is not how this desk writes a ship date.
I hosted V-Rock in 2002. That disc had a multiplayer afterthought and a radio I could live in. This one has a printed single-player sentence and a GTA+ month for the service that already exists. It does not have a printed Online 2. Old industry reporting that VI would include “a significant online mode” is years old. It has not been restated on a 2025 or 2026 Newswire. We will not promote it to a store page.
Rockstar is still shipping GTA Online updates for V. Take-Two has said it will keep supporting that service while people play it. That is support for the current product. It is not a VI lobby.
Extended Look is not an Online leak
Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look already aired 27 August 2026 — Netflix 3 p.m. ET, then YouTube and the VI site at 9 p.m. ET. Netflix listing: about 27 minutes. It is not an Online 2 announcement unless Rockstar prints one.

If you are buying the game that exists
You are buying a single-player Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S on 19 November 2026. Digital pre-load is 12 November, local midnight, on those consoles. PC is not announced. Last-gen is not on the list. There is no official early Online access. If someone is selling “GTA+ for GTA 6” as a file, they are selling you a problem.
