- Reported Yonhap and etnews report that the GCRB gave Grand Theft Auto VI a 청소년이용불가 rating at a classification meeting on 16 October 2026. Both say this means the game is expected to launch in Korea on 19 November as planned.
- Store listing The PlayStation Store KR shows a 19+ rating, with prices of ₩89,800 for the Standard Edition and ₩112,800 for the Ultimate Edition. The listing gives an unlock time of 10 a.m. ET on 18 November.
- Official Rockstar’s worldwide release date is 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Reported Both reports describe the GCRB as a private rating body under the Game Culture Foundation. Since 2024 the government has been moving rating powers from the Game Rating and Administration Committee to the private sector. The GCRB first took over All, 12+ and 15+ ratings, and from November 2025 it has also rated adults-only PC and console games.
Reported etnews calls GTA 6 the most-watched title rated since adults-only PC and console ratings moved to the private board, and a test case for how that system judges major global games.
Reported According to both reports, GTA 6 is said to contain the most explicit nudity and strongest violence in the series. They say the board focused its review on whether those scenes are suitable for release in Korea.
