Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.
This synopsis defines the campaign scope published by Rockstar. Lucia Caminos enters the narrative following her release from Leonida Penitentiary, while Jason's official bio places him in the Keys following military service. Track confirmed profiles on characters.
Despite persistent rumors of drop-in co-op story mode, Rockstar has positioned GTA VI as a single-player narrative campaign. Viral November 2025 clips claiming to show leaked co-op campaign missions were subsequently retracted as deepfakes by their uploaders.
Similarly, Gloriana license plates spotted on highway traffic in official footage reflect environmental detail, not an unannounced second state. The confirmed setting remains restricted to the six regions detailed on the Leonida map and six-region gazetteer.
The next official broadcast is the Extended Look on 27 August 2026 (streaming on Netflix at 3:00 p.m. ET, followed by YouTube and the official site at 9:00 p.m. ET). Grand Theft Auto VI launches 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, per the November date Newswire. Verified mission logs will be maintained on missions.
