Three episode cards. Inspect element. One listing.

Three episode cards. Inspect element. One listing.

A Portugal Netflix screenshot claiming three Extended Look episodes was fabricated via inspect element. The live page remains a single listing.

A viral screenshot claiming Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is split into three Netflix episodes totaling 66 minutes (23:37, 24:41, and 18:29) is a browser inspect element edit. The live directory at netflix.com/GTAVI remains a single title listing with a reminder toggle.

Where things stand, 14 October 2026

  • Official Grand Theft Auto VI launches Thursday, 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced.
  • Official US$79.99 Standard, US$99.99 Ultimate (Take-Two, 24 June). Digital pre-load opens 12 November; the boxed copy is a download code, not a disc.
  • Store listing US stores unlock it at 12:00 a.m. ET on 19 November and show ESRB Mature 17+.
  • Official Rockstar named six in-game radio stations on 8 October.
  • Reported Bloomberg’s 14 October making-of feature covers the two delays, crunch and the next game: our breakdown · quick answers.

The schedule
27 August 2026: Netflix at 3:00 p.m. ET; YouTube and Rockstar's site at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Runtime
Unpublished by both Rockstar and Netflix.

Structure
Single broadcast listing, not a multi-part episodic series.

The fabricated UI

The dark-mode grab originated on r/GTA6 before spreading to GTAForums, showing three numbered episode cards under a Portuguese Netflix header. Beyond incorrect font rendering and mismatched container padding, live verification through Portuguese VPN endpoints confirms no episodic tabs or split runtimes exist on the platform's backend.

Official listing and schedule

Rockstar's official Newswire and the live Netflix page confirm a single standalone presentation titled Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. It premieres on Netflix on 27 August at 3:00 p.m. ET for standard subscribers, followed by a public release on YouTube and rockstargames.com/VI at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Neither Rockstar nor Netflix has published an official runtime. Until the broadcast airs, any multi-part episode breakdowns or specific minute counts remain entirely unverified.

Haha yeah — homework padding is a good name for it. That three-card screenshot (23:37, 24:41, 18:29) was an inspect-element fake, and live checks via Portuguese VPN found no episode tabs. As we reported, netflix.com/GTAVI is still a single listing. Rockstar and Netflix haven’t published any runtime, so it’s one broadcast on August 27 until they do.

Netflix does not ship a More Details box that looks like that. The fonts were wrong.

Even if he had the build, Rockstar sat on RDR2 leaks for months and it didn't hurt it one bit.
