GTA 6 Hypercar Leak Doesn't Put a Truffade Thrax on Rockstar's Locker

Cyberleek's August 21 clip is about 2 minutes 25 seconds of unofficial Jason footage. Recaps named the car. Rockstar did not.
On 21 August 2026 a Cyberleek clip of about two minutes and twenty-five seconds showed Jason smash a window, pull a driver out, and drive Vice City highways. Lucia is not in the tape. PC Gamer, GameRant, and Forbes described that drive. We do not host the file.
Rockstar's named GTA 6 vehicle locker still has no Truffade Thrax. The editions page names the Cheetah, the Stanier, the Dominator Buggy, the Squalo. It does not name this car.
A leak tape can show metal. It cannot print a locker line.
Confirmed
Rockstar has not named a Thrax on the VI editions page. Official watch order is still Trailer 1, Trailer 2, Extended Look (aired 27 August). On 27 August Nelson told press the carjack can take a QTE or tools, and the phone scanner is WAINK.
Reported
Recaps describe Jason jacking a hypercar on 21 August and driving Vice City for about 2:25.
Unverified
Truffade Thrax as the printed in-game name. Leak-only brake glow and spoiler as final. 3D minimap, fuel, personal-vehicle icon. 144-minute day.
What the August 21 tape actually shows
The useful part is short. Jason leaves a pickup, breaks into a locked sports car, and mashes the driver out. PC Gamer, 21 August said that pull costs stamina. Then he drives. Highways around Vice City. Almost no crashes. A crime pop-up. A watermark that reads CYBERLEEK CAN'T DRIVE, because earlier comments were about the driving.
That is the tape. Not a feature list. Not a garage. GameRant called it leak six and noted Lucia never appears. Forbes timed it at 2:25 and said the car looked Bugatti-like. None of those outlets had a Rockstar quote attaching that name to GTA 6.
Nelson named the steal, not the car
On 27 August, after the Extended Look, Rockstar North's Rob Nelson told IGN and Rock Paper Shotgun that stealing a car is no longer one button. It can take a QTE, or tools. That matches the mash-jack people saw on the unofficial tape. It still does not name the car.
Nelson also walked press through a phone scanner, WAINK, that reads lock, alarm, tracker, fence value, and what it costs to register a stolen car as personal. The Hypercar tape did not print that name. The press session did.
What recaps and Reddit added
Notebookcheck's 22 August writeup is the pile. Fans said the brake discs glowed. The rear spoiler rose under braking. The pickup Jason left had a marker that looked like a personal vehicle. The minimap looked 3D on stacked roads. Fuel and engine icons sat above it.
Those are readings of unofficial footage. They are not locker lines. They are not Newswire. The 144-minute day is the same class of homework: one r/GTA6 GPS tick from 7:29 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. in about six seconds, then multiplied. We already ran that number. It does not confirm a day cycle. See the Hypercar clock writeup.
Why this car is not on the vehicles page
The named locker is Cheetah, Stanier, Dominator Buggy, Squalo, plus group labels. Trailer metal without a printed name stays off that grid. The Thrax is a GTA Online car. A similar shape on a leak tape does not move it onto the VI editions page.
If Rockstar prints the name, the vehicles hub gets the still and a dated line. Until then the car stays unofficial.
The clip was also a storefront
PC Gamer recorded the on-screen threat: HIGHER MARKETCAP = MORE LEEKS. The watermarks, the QR, the crypto pitch are the same August wrapper. We already wrote the token story. This page is the car. That is why we do not embed the file.
The Extended Look aired August 27. 19 November 2026 is still the launch. The Hypercar tape changed neither. It also did not add a name to the locker.
