Nelson tells IGN Jason and Lucia stay crime partners if you skip romance

Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson told IGN that Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos stay partners in crime even if you never touch the romance layer. Extended Look clips from 27 August already showed the pair working a room. A 3 September post by @nekaishi claimed male-coded franchises are being redesigned for modern audiences and that men's spaces are occupied. The post mourned games where dudes just hang out with their bros to steal cars. Nelson's answer is blunter. You can skip the date. You cannot skip the score.

The crime partnership does not break

Unverified leak accounts recently fabricated claims of explicit scenes involving Lucia and a character named Lily. As logged on our GTA 6 leak tracker, those claims carry zero technical evidence from development builds. Flirting animations in preview footage circulated on Latin American feeds. Visual banter there is ambient worldbuilding. It is not a dating-simulator mandate.

Lucia Caminos is not a lecture

The fear that a female co-lead dilutes GTA's criminal camaraderie skips both gameplay history and Rockstar's script. Replies to @nekaishi noted that Lara Croft proved decades ago a female lead does not turn an action game into an ideological lecture. Lucia Caminos is rooted in franchise tradition. Her official Rockstar Games profile establishes she fought for family before landing inside the Leonida Penitentiary.
