Unverified factory photos dated 9 September 2026 claim early packaging for an unannounced Grand Theft Auto VI collector tier. Pallet wrap on a Mexico floor. An alleged 2002 typeface on cardboard bigger than a PlayStation 5 carton. Tracking account iGrandTheftAuto on X pushed the set, and Spanish and French mirrors followed. Players who remember unfolding the glossy paper map from the GTA V case want a box they can keep. That want is not a confirmation.

Vice City: Leonida, and a shirt alligator

The shots show wooden shipping pallets in plastic wrap, holding boxes larger than a standard PlayStation 5 carton. A worker claiming a job at Unique Services Group in Mexico said the plant has had the run for months, aiming at a November production finish. People on our GTA 6 leak tracker noted the Vice City: Leonida lockup matches the alligator art on Jason's shirt in official promotional screenshots. That symmetry is why the photos travel. It is also why they are easy to fake. June pre-order art is public. Printing it on a test carton is not hard. Insider Hope puts pallet labels and shipping paperwork at 90 percent. Packaging hoaxes mimic supply chains for a living. Ninety percent is Hope's number. Rockstar has not said a word.

A round tray is not a Blu-ray

The loudest read is an interior circular recess, which collectors treat as a hole for an optical disc. Rockstar retail documentation says the standard boxed edition is a digital download code for the 12 November pre-load window, with no Blu-ray in the carton. On YouTube breakdown coverage of retail pricing, one line was that "no disc for physical copies is just mental." Others said a voucher kills trade-in and disc-swap ownership. A pressed disc still means trade-in value, a shelf copy, and an offline install when a multi-hundred-gigabyte download chokes a line. A round cutout proves none of that. Sony already shipped the God of War Ragnarök steelbook with the same disc-shaped tray and a paper redemption slip inside it.

The authenticity test named in the thread is a Take-Two trademark notice or a Newswire collector card before October. Silence is not a SKU. Until Rockstar prints a collector disc, the Mexico pallets stay unverified, and the standard box stays a code.
