Raul Bautista — official GTA 6 supporting

Seasoned bank robber. Confidence, charm, cunning. Always hunting talent. That is the whole official file. No trailer nameplate. No “he ran the easy score” sentence.

Longread: Lucia Is From Liberty City: What GTA 6's Ties to GTA 4 and GTA 5 Do (and Don't) Tell Us

What Rockstar printed

People & Places, 6 May 2025. Headline: “Experience counts.” A seasoned bank robber always hunting talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards. Quoted: “Life is full of surprises, my friend. I think we’d all be wise to remember that.” And: “A professional adapts.”

Recklessness raises the stakes with every score. Sooner or later his crew will have to double down or pull their chips from the table. Official spelling is Bautista — some recaps misspell Batista. Voice actor unpublished. Rockstar does not say he organized Jason and Lucia’s failed score. Do not write that as fact. Leads: Lucia Caminos, Jason Duval. Story: story.

On the tape

No nameplate. If you want a bank beat, that is Lucia and Jason at Trailer 2 1:15. His face is the still, not a timestamp we invented.

Hard stop

Almost the entire official file is one People & Places blurb. No trailer nameplate. No “third lead” Newswire. Third-protagonist and betrayal reads stay starred. Extended Look did not expand his card.

Reported — what LOVE added (5 Oct)

Reported LOVE Issue 27 (LOVE online interview, Rupert Humphries): Raul is “an older mentor character,” with the local and criminal knowledge Jason and Lucia lack, and he brings the big heists. He embodies Vice City with a “knowing Miami-cool.” That’s a role, not a mission list, and Rockstar’s own card hasn’t changed. More: LOVE Issue 27, explained.

New interview details, checked 14 October Reported

• Reported In a Raul mission shown to IGN, the first part is on rails, then you drive an optimal but optional route because “the mission is essentially a police chase” (IGN, The Big Interview (Rob Nelson, 7 October 2026)).

Interviews and magazine features are not Rockstar copy. The official bio above stays the reference.

What the comments are saying Not confirmed

• * r/GTA6 floated him as a backup playable — similar build to Jason, easier to reuse animations. Another thread used hair-growth stills to argue he is not a third lead. Both are guesses. playable guess · not-playable counter.
• * Lookalike pile: Dutch, Lester, Arthur, a Russian streamer. Faces are not credits. r/GTA6.
• * A relationship post says he pulls Lucia away from Jason — she wants heat, Jason wants to survive. Official copy does not name that triangle. r/GTA6.
• * Betrayal threads ask if he frames them or gets them killed. Starred. r/GTA6.
