GTA 6 “Nude Lucia” Rumor: What Leaked, and What’s Verified

Where the Lucia clips came from, why outlets suspect dev tools, and what Rockstar has and hasn’t said.

The “nude Lucia” clips that flooded social media this week came from Cyberleek, the anonymous leaker who has been posting unauthorized GTA 6 footage since August. They weren’t AI fakes or a ratings-board leak. They were paid-for drops in a cryptocurrency scheme, and IGN and other outlets say they show signs of developer tools rather than anything you’ll be able to do in the retail game.

Rockstar hasn’t commented on these clips. Here’s what happened, and what has and hasn’t been verified. We don’t link to or describe any leaked footage.

Claim. “Leaked gameplay proves GTA 6 lets you play with Lucia fully nude.”

Evidence. Reported: IGN says the clips show NPCs not reacting at all, and that an earlier clip from the same leaker spawned a tank, suggesting “access to a dev menu of some kind.” IGN: “it is unknown if GTA 6 will feature either character naked at any point — officially at least.”

Verdict. Not confirmed. The footage appears to come from a development build, likely altered with debug tools. It doesn’t show a retail feature.

  1. Aug 26, 2026: Rockstar calls the leaks “heartbreaking” for its team.
  2. Oct 8, 2026: Cyberleek returns with about 25 minutes of footage.
  3. Oct 10–11, 2026: crypto milestones tied to Lucia clips are hit.
  4. Oct 12, 2026: IGN reports fan skepticism; the coin starts crashing.
  5. Oct 14, 2026: Cyberleek says “the leeks stop here. For now.”

Official
Rockstar’s Aug 26 statement. Release Nov 19.

Reported
The Lucia clips, the crypto milestones, signs of dev tools (IGN, Polygon, Insider Gaming, Kotaku).

Not confirmed
Whether any nudity in the clips exists in the retail game.

Where the Clips Came From

Cyberleek began posting gameplay in August. Rockstar responded on August 26: “It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team” (Official). Take-Two filed subpoenas against Discord as it hunted the leaker (Reported, IGN, VGC).

On October 8, Cyberleek returned with roughly 25 minutes of footage, including Jason nude, per IGN (Reported). Every drop pointed to a website and a memecoin.

How Lucia Became the Bait

Cyberleek tied leaks to the coin’s market cap. According to Polygon, the early tiers were all about Lucia: a bikini clip at a couple of million dollars, topless footage at a few million, full nudity at $4 million, and a 4K version at $6 million (Reported). IGN reported the $4 million mark was reached over the weekend of October 10–11 and the clips followed.

The top prize, at $30 million, was supposed to be a full playable build.

The Verification Problem

Outlets didn’t call the footage fake. They questioned what it represents. IGN’s Wesley Yin-Poole laid out the signs (Reported):

  • An earlier Cyberleek video showed a tank spawned into the world, suggesting “access to a dev menu of some kind.”
  • In the nude clips of both Jason and Lucia, NPCs failed to react “in any way,” which IGN says suggests “a dev menu or cheats.”
  • One theory is that a nude state exists for a specific mission, perhaps a nudist resort, and was reused. IGN calls that “all speculation.”

Insider Gaming also reported that the validity of the footage has been questioned (Reported).

What the Rating Actually Says

GTA 6 is rated M for Mature 17+ (Official). A rating doesn’t say how adult content appears, or for which characters. Rockstar has published screenshots of lap dances; it has not shown nudity for either lead. More on our ratings page.

How It Fizzled

Polygon reported on October 12 at 12:07 p.m. ET that the gamble had “backfired”: the coin fell about 71% from a peak of roughly $8.2 million,. Outlets cite slightly different peaks, from $7.8 million to $8.4 million. Polygon’s point: Cyberleek spent its most valuable bait at the cheapest tiers (Reported).

By October 14, IGN reported the coin was down to about $1.2 million, and Cyberleek posted that “the leeks stop here. For now.” Its last video reportedly shows clips from the final missions, per IGN and Eurogamer, and its website went offline, per Insider Gaming (Reported, 14 Oct, 8:47–9:06 a.m. ET). We don’t describe it. The full build was not released. Rockstar has said nothing about the Lucia clips specifically.

What We Know, and What We Don’t

  • Known: the clips came from Cyberleek’s crypto campaign, not from AI or a rating board (Reported).
  • Known: outlets see signs of dev tools (Reported).
  • Not confirmed: whether Lucia appears nude anywhere in the final game.
  • Not confirmed: who Cyberleek is. Take-Two’s legal hunt continues.

Our leak tracker logs each claim without linking leaked material.

Official Trailer 2 is Rockstar’s own look at Lucia. It’s the footage to judge her by.

NPCs not reacting AT ALL is the giveaway. Dev menu, tank spawn, whatever. Anyway pls stop sending me this, I'd like to meet Lucia with clothes on first

Tank spawn, frozen NPCs. Debug build, not a feature. Coin did its job and died.

Even if he had the build, Rockstar sat on RDR2 leaks for months and it didn't hurt it one bit.
