What Rockstar says about Mount Kalaga National Park

Room to breathe on the state’s northern fringes. A national landmark up against the state’s northern border, Mount Kalaga offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails. In the lush surrounding backwoods, hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals live far from the prying eyes of the government.

Official Rockstar’s “Only in Leonida” destination copy.

Official The ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy in the Ultimate Edition is pitched for “the backwoods of Mount Kalaga and beyond.”
Official Hunting, fishing and off-road trails are advertised on the postcard. That is marketing copy, not a systems list.

What others report

Reported IGN reports Rob Nelson naming studying animals among the things Jason and Lucia can do together (7 Oct).
Not confirmed Domed Hills and Yorktown are wiki place names. A border with “Gloriana” is wiki speculation; Gloriana appears only on licence plates.

Real-world inspiration

Press and fans read Mount Kalaga National Park as Rockstar’s take on the north Florida backwoods. That comparison is ours and the press’s, not a Rockstar statement.
