GTA 6 Launch Trailer on TV: Extended Spot Shows Helicopter Bank Vault Score

GTA 6 Launch Trailer on TV: Extended Spot Shows Helicopter Bank Vault Score

RockstarIntel reports that an extended cut of the GTA 6 launch trailer is now airing on television, highlighting a helicopter bank vault heist and original music by Justice ahead of the November 19 release.

An extended cut of the GTA 6 launch trailer has entered television rotation according to RockstarIntel, putting a helicopter bank vault heist straight onto living room screens before the November 19 street date. The final living-room blitz for Leonida has started.

Reported RockstarIntel reports the extended TV spot is airing; Rockstar has already released the official launch trailer online

Moving the campaign from YouTube feeds to broadcast television signals that Rockstar Games is chasing every casual console owner in the final weeks before launch. According to Rockstar Games, the official launch trailer is backed by electronic duo Justice, who composed the original score for the game and contributed the standalone single "Flower in a Hurricane." While television edits often trim online trailers to fit standard commercial blocks, the reported extended broadcast spot keeps the focus squarely on high-altitude mission hardware across Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.

  • Reported broadcast status: Extended launch trailer commercial now airing on television networks.
  • Key heist setpiece: Helicopters airlifting a section of a bank vault directly into a building.
  • Official score: Music by Justice featuring their standalone track "Flower in a Hurricane."
  • Release schedule: November 19 launch set across Vice City and Leonida.

Helicopter Bank Vault Extraction Changes the Heist Loop

The standout sequence in the launch cut expands on earlier mission footage by showing helicopters flying part of a bank vault into a building, as noted by Dexerto. Anyone who ran The Paleto Score or The Bureau Raid in GTA V remembers when heavy-lift choppers were mostly scripted getaway taxis at the very end of a job. Hauling a physical piece of a vault into a second structure mid-mission points to multi-stage aerial rigging where rotor control, building clearance, and police air support collide while the score is still active.

What Players Are Debating Before Pre-Load

Even with television spots running, players are still arguing over how much of the launch cut reflects raw controller input versus cinematic camera passes. In a YouTube teaser comment thread, one viewer insisted on seeing uncut gameplay before preordering instead of cutscenes, while another viewer on the Netflix Extended Look upload said the PlayStation 5 footage gave them the same generational shock as jumping from GTA 2 to GTA 3. Watch local sports and prime-time ad breaks to see if the broadcast edit reveals extra seconds of that helicopter extraction before pre-loads open.

Paleto Score had the chopper as a getaway car. Flying the vault itself into a building is a different job. If that is playable and not a cutscene, I am impressed.

The broadcast spot shows heavy-lift helicopters airlifting a reinforced section of the bank vault straight into another structure, rather than tearing out the entire foundation. Whether that aerial rigging is fully dynamic or part of a multi-stage scripted getaway remains unconfirmed, but it definitely sets a wild tone for Leonida heists ahead of the November 19 launch.

Vault shot was in the 2022 clips. Different angle, same layout.

Even if he had the build, Rockstar sat on RDR2 leaks for months and it didn't hurt it one bit.
