Austria is one German shop language, one euro catalog, and a PlayStation footer that does not match Rockstar. It is not the German Microsoft catalog. Rockstar’s date is Thursday, 19 November 2026. PlayStation Austria’s FAQ answers “Wann erscheint Grand Theft Auto VI?” with 19. November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. The same marketing page stamps Veröffentlichung: 18.11.2026 in the footer. Xbox Austria’s Ultimate listing printed Veröffentlichungsdatum 11/18/2026. A store footer is a store footer. The publisher date is still the 19th.

What 19 November means in Austria

Austria is on winter time in November. DST ends on 25 October 2026. So “19 November” is a Thursday in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. One zone. They did not print “when the East Coast unlocks.” The date is the date.

PlayStation Austria’s product stamp is 18.11.2026 11:00 PM UTC (6:00 p.m. ET on 18 November). That is a catalog stamp. It is not a Support midnight-launch article. We will not sell you a queue on Mariahilfer Straße as Newswire.

Pre-load is the sentence that does carry a clock. Digital pre-load starts 12 November 2026 at local midnight. You download. You do not start the story. The November card is the pre-load checklist.

PlayStation Austria’s FAQ says the 19th. The footer says 18.11

PlayStation Austria — playstation.com/de-at — answered the release-date FAQ with 19. November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. Same page, footer: Veröffentlichung 18.11.2026, Herausgeber Rockstar Games, Genres Action. Title on that pass: PlayStation (Autriche). That is the Australian-style storefront glitch, on a German Austria URL. The publisher date is still the 19th.

The marketing page this pass did not print a euro price on the hero. Edition names on the page: Grand Theft Auto VI, Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Edition Upgrade, Vintage Vice City Pack, plus one month of GTA+. The editions FAQ itself said “Wirf einen Blick auf die neuesten Auswahlmöglichkeiten im PlayStation®Store.” The checkout lives behind “Grand Theft Auto VI im PlayStation®Store kaufen.” We will not invent the number behind that button.

What we did fetch on the Austrian PlayStation Store category: €79,99 Standard and €99,99 Ultimate, both marked Pre-Order. Listing: store.playstation.com/de-at. Product names this pass: Grand Theft Auto VI, Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition. Those are store stickers we fetched, not a conversion from Take-Two dollars.

The GTA+ FAQ on the marketing page: pre-order the digital version from PlayStation Store before 20 November 2026, then redeem. That matches Take-Two’s before-the-20th cutoff. It is not a VI Online pass. The card is GTA+.

Xbox Austria printed euros on de-AT, not de-DE

Take-Two’s 24 June sheet is in US dollars: Standard US$79.99, Ultimate US$99.99. We are not converting that into euros. We are not pasting Xbox Germany onto Austria either.

What we did fetch: Microsoft’s Xbox Austria listing printed € 79,99 Standard and € 99,99 Ultimate, with the upgrade add-on at € 20,00. Product names this pass: Grand Theft Auto VI, Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition, Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition Upgrade, Grand Theft Auto VI: Vintage Vice City Pack. Listing: xbox.com/de-AT. Button this pass said VORBESTELLEN. Copy: “Bestelle vor dem 20. November und erhalte: –Das Vintage Vice City Pack” plus one month of GTA+. It can move. This is not de-DE.

Rockstar’s own storefront is still the one Take-Two named. Start at rockstargames.com/VI. High-street names that typically list a Rockstar launch — MediaMarkt Austria, GameStop Austria — are not cited here as official SKU pages. We do not rank them.

PEGI is the board. Its PEGI 18 went up and came down

Rating check, 7 October 2026: PEGI not certified — a PEGI.info search for Grand Theft Auto VI returns “Found 0 results.” The PlayStation Store in Austria shows a PEGI 18 badge (Store listing). Reported: PEGI posted a PEGI 18 page with a detailed content note on 2 October and pulled it the same day (IGN, VGC) — PEGI page pulled. A store badge isn’t PEGI’s certificate, so we keep the labels apart. Every region: ratings.

Austria uses PEGI. Germany uses USK. Take-Two’s June no-rating-yet line is out of date: PEGI posted a PEGI 18 for Grand Theft Auto VI on 2 October 2026 and then pulled the page, so it stays Reported until PEGI puts it back (in the US, the ESRB rates it M for Mature 17+). PlayStation Austria’s age-rating FAQ says the classifications for Grand Theft Auto VI were not yet set, then points at Grand Theft Auto V: PEGI 18 in Europe. That last clause is about V.

Xbox Austria’s product JSON this pass carries PEGI:18P — Microsoft’s provisional 18 store badge — and the listing links Jugendschutz information. A store pending badge is not a PEGI certificate. We will not write “es ist PEGI 18” for VI. We will not paste V’s descriptors onto this box. If PEGI publishes a Grand Theft Auto VI certificate, this page gets the dated note. The longer card is ratings.

What Austrian threads keep asking

The two that will not die: is it PEGI 18 yet, and will MediaMarkt run a midnight on Mariahilfer Straße. No PEGI certificate for VI this pass. A queue in Vienna is not on Newswire. Rockstar printed a download-code box, not a playable Blu-ray. Physical copies go on sale from 12 November so you can type the code and pre-load. If MediaMarkt posts an event, that is MediaMarkt’s poster, not a Rockstar hour.

The third one is the German sticker: is Xbox Austria cheaper than Xbox Germany. Different catalogs. Different ratings boards. Xbox Austria printed 79,99 euro this pass. Xbox Germany is the USK sheet. That is two Microsoft markets, not a conversion we performed.

PC is the other one. There is no official PC date. There is no official PC price in euros. The empty GPU chart is system requirements.
