GTA 6 release date Switzerland — 19 November 2026

GTA 6 comes out in Switzerland on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Official. Xbox Switzerland lists CHF 79.90 Standard and CHF 99.90 Ultimate Store listing. New here? Start here.

Switzerland is three shop languages, one franc catalog, and a PlayStation footer that does not match Rockstar. It is not the Austrian euro sheet. It is not Xbox Germany. Rockstar’s date is Thursday, 19 November 2026. PlayStation Switzerland’s FAQ answers “Wann erscheint Grand Theft Auto VI?” with 19. November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. The same marketing page stamps Veröffentlichung: 18.11.2026 in the footer. Xbox Switzerland’s Standard and Ultimate product JSON this pass carries OriginalReleaseDate: 2026-11-18T23:00:00Z. A store footer is a store footer. The publisher date is still the 19th.

What 19 November means in Switzerland

Switzerland is on winter time in November. DST ends on 25 October 2026. So “19 November” is a Thursday in Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Bern, Lausanne, and Lugano. One zone. They did not print “when the East Coast unlocks.” The date is the date.

Arithmetic, labeled as arithmetic: Xbox Switzerland’s Standard bundle JSON this pass carries OriginalReleaseDate: 2026-11-18T23:00:00Z and the same stamp on Ultimate. PlayStation Switzerland’s product stamp is 18.11.2026 11:00 PM UTC (6:00 p.m. ET on 18 November). That is a catalog stamp. It is not a Support midnight-launch article. We will not sell you a queue on Bahnhofstrasse as Newswire.

Pre-load is the sentence that does carry a clock. Digital pre-load starts 12 November 2026 at local midnight. You download. You do not start the story. The November card is the pre-load checklist.

PlayStation Switzerland’s FAQ says the 19th. The footer says 18.11

PlayStation Switzerland — playstation.com/de-ch — answered the release-date FAQ with 19. November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. Same page, footer: Veröffentlichung 18.11.2026, Herausgeber Rockstar Games, Genres Action. Title on that pass: PlayStation (Schweiz). The publisher date is still the 19th.

The marketing page this pass did not print a franc price on the hero. Edition names on the German page: Grand Theft Auto VI, Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Edition Upgrade, Vintage Vice City Pack, plus one month of GTA+. The French storefront names the same Ultimate tier Édition Ultime. The editions FAQ itself said “Wirf einen Blick auf die neuesten Auswahlmöglichkeiten im PlayStation®Store.” The checkout lives behind “Grand Theft Auto VI im PlayStation®Store kaufen.” We will not invent the number behind that button.

What we did fetch on the Swiss PlayStation Store category: CHF 79.90 Standard and CHF 99.90 Ultimate, both marked Pre-Order. Listing: store.playstation.com/de-ch. The French category printed the same francs against Grand Theft Auto VI and Grand Theft Auto VI : Édition Ultime. Those are store stickers we fetched, not a conversion from Take-Two dollars.

The GTA+ FAQ on the marketing page: pre-order the digital version from PlayStation Store before 20 November 2026, then redeem. The Standard product copy on that pass also said the GTA+ offer ends on 19 November 2026. Two Sony sentences. Take-Two’s cutoff is still purchases before the 20th. It is not a VI Online pass. The card is GTA+.

Xbox Switzerland printed francs on de-CH, not euros on de-AT

Take-Two’s 24 June sheet is in US dollars: Standard US$79.99, Ultimate US$99.99. We are not converting that into francs. We are not pasting Xbox Austria’s euros onto Switzerland either.

What we did fetch: Microsoft’s Xbox Switzerland listing printed CHF 79.90+ Standard and CHF 99.90+ Ultimate, with the upgrade add-on at CHF 20.00. The product JSON behind those tiles this pass: Standard bundle ListPrice 79.9 CHF, Ultimate bundle 99.9 CHF, both VatIncluded. Product names this pass on de-CH: Grand Theft Auto VI, Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition, Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition Upgrade, Grand Theft Auto VI: Vintage Vice City Pack. On fr-CH the Ultimate tile is Grand Theft Auto VI : Édition Ultime. Listing: xbox.com/de-CH. Button this pass said VORBESTELLEN. Copy: “Bestelle vor dem 20. November und erhalte: –Das Vintage Vice City Pack” plus one month of GTA+. It can move. This is not de-DE and it is not de-AT.

Rockstar’s own storefront is still the one Take-Two named. Start at rockstargames.com/VI. High-street names that typically list a Rockstar launch — Digitec, Galaxus, MediaMarkt Switzerland, Fust — are not cited here as official SKU pages. We do not rank them.

The catalog carries PEGI and USK. PEGI’s 18 went up and came down

Rating check, 7 October 2026: PEGI not certified — a PEGI.info search for Grand Theft Auto VI returns “Found 0 results.” The PlayStation Store in Switzerland shows a PEGI 18 badge (Store listing). Reported: PEGI posted a PEGI 18 page with a detailed content note on 2 October and pulled it the same day (IGN, VGC) — PEGI page pulled. A store badge isn’t PEGI’s certificate, so we keep the labels apart. Every region: ratings.

Switzerland sits between the German USK sheet and the PEGI countries. Take-Two’s June no-rating-yet line is out of date: PEGI posted a PEGI 18 for Grand Theft Auto VI on 2 October 2026 and then pulled the page, so it stays Reported until PEGI puts it back (in the US, the ESRB rates it M for Mature 17+). USK has not published a decision we could find. PlayStation Switzerland’s age-rating FAQ says the classifications for Grand Theft Auto VI were not yet set, then points at Grand Theft Auto V: PEGI 18 in Europe. That last clause is about V.

Re-checked 20 October: the Xbox CH catalog record now carries PEGI 18 (drugs, sex, violence, in-game purchases) and USK 18 (with the same violence, problematic role models and drugs descriptors as the German PlayStation Store) Store listing. On earlier passes it carried PEGI:18P and USK:RP, a provisional store badge and a rating-pending flag. The de-CH listing links Jugendschutz information. A store pending badge is not a PEGI certificate. These are store catalog flags, not PEGI.info or usk.de certificate pages. We will not paste V’s descriptors onto this box. If PEGI or USK publishes a Grand Theft Auto VI certificate, this page gets the dated note. The longer card is ratings.

Reported, week of 22 September: official Grand Theft Auto VI posters and dummy cases appeared in UK shops (IBTimes UK). Final rating: not announced at the time of the posters; see our age rating page.

Extended Look on a Zurich clock

Thursday, 27 August 2026. Switzerland is still on summer time. Netflix at 3:00 p.m. ET is 9:00 p.m. in Zurich. That arithmetic is from the official ET clock. Rockstar did not print a Zurich row. The full table lives on the Extended Look hub.

What Swiss threads keep asking

The two that will not die: is it PEGI 18 or USK 18 yet, and will Digitec run a midnight in Zurich. No PEGI certificate for VI this pass. No USK certificate either. A queue on Bahnhofstrasse is not on Newswire. Rockstar printed a download-code box, not a playable Blu-ray. Physical copies go on sale from 12 November so you can type the code and pre-load. If Digitec posts an event, that is Digitec’s poster, not a Rockstar hour.

The third one is the neighbour sticker: is Xbox Switzerland cheaper than Xbox Austria. Different catalogs. Different currency. Xbox Switzerland printed 79.90 francs this pass. Xbox Austria printed 79,99 euro. That is two Microsoft markets, not a conversion we performed.

PC is the other one. There is no official PC date. There is no official PC price in francs. The empty GPU chart is system requirements.
