GTA 6 release date Germany — 19 November 2026
GTA 6 comes out in Germany on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Official. Xbox Germany lists 79,99 €, and the German PlayStation Store now shows USK 18 Store listing. New here? Start here.
Germany does not get a special Rockstar date. It gets a special ratings office. The German PlayStation Store now lists USK 18 for Grand Theft Auto VI, with “Drastische Gewalt”, “Drogen” and “Problematische Vorbilder” Store listing. play3.de reported on 15 October that the USK refused a youth rating Reported. We have not read a certificate page on usk.de.
Launch
19 November 2026. Newswire date.
Xbox DE
79,99 € Standard. 99,99 € Ultimate. Listing we fetched.
USK for VI
PS Store DE: USK 18 (re-checked 20 Oct). Store listing, not a usk.de page.
PS DE footer
18.11.2026 on the games page. FAQ still says 19. November.
“19 November” is a Thursday in Berlin. Rockstar did not print 00:01 Uhr.
PlayStation’s Germany games page FAQ says the title erscheint am 19. November 2026. The footer on that same page printed Veröffentlichung: 18.11.2026. Same split we saw on the Australian page. We are not resolving Sony’s footer against Newswire. The publisher date is the 19th.
Pre-load: 12 November 2026, local midnight. A download date. Pre-load checklist.
Xbox Germany printed euros. PlayStation’s FAQ still recites PEGI for V
Microsoft’s Xbox Germany listing printed 79,99 € Standard, 99,99 € Ultimate, and 20,00 € for the upgrade — xbox.com/de-DE this pass. Take-Two’s dollar sheet is a different document.
PlayStation Germany — playstation.com/de-de — did not print a euro price on the marketing page this pass. Its FAQ answers the age question with the same Support sentence the US page uses: ratings for VI unconfirmed, GTA V was ESRB M and PEGI 18. It does not mention USK. That is Sony’s FAQ, not the German board.
MediaMarkt, Saturn, and Amazon.de typically list a Rockstar launch. We do not have an official retailer SKU this pass. Start at rockstargames.com/VI.
USK is the desk that matters in this country
Rating check, re-done 20 October 2026: the PlayStation Store DE now shows USK 18 for Grand Theft Auto VI (Store listing). On 14 October it still read “USK Rating Pending”. In Europe, PEGI not certified: PEGI.info shows no entry, PlayStation Stores show PEGI 18, and PEGI’s own 18 page was posted 2 October and pulled (Reported, PEGI page pulled). Every region: ratings.
USK rates games for Germany. Grand Theft Auto V was USK 18. Older GTA cuts in this market are history, not a VI file. We will not write “they’ll cut it again” as fact. USK 18 for VI is now on the German PlayStation Store; we did not find a usk.de certificate page this pass. The independent rating card is ratings.
Extended Look from Berlin
27 August 2026 — already aired. Netflix at 3:00 p.m. ET was 9:00 p.m. in Berlin. YouTube and the VI site at 9:00 p.m. ET was 3:00 a.m. on Friday the 28th. One city. The grid is on the Extended Look hub.
What German threads ask
r/GTA6’s Germany beat is Jugendschutz: will USK force a cut, and is there a disc. The box is a download code. Official. The German store now shows USK 18. A cut from San Andreas or from an older V SKU is not a VI patch note. Confirmed: confirmed. FAQ: faq. Platforms: platforms. Calendar: calendar.

Hard stop — Germany
No invented USK cut list. No MediaMarkt midnight hour as Newswire. Local midnight is Support’s pre-load wording on the 12th. US ET primary stays on the US page.
