GTA 6 release date UK — 19 November 2026

GTA 6 comes out in the UK on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Same printed date as everywhere else. Rockstar did not print a UK midnight hour.

Rockstar North sits in Edinburgh. The launch date they printed is still the same date as Los Angeles: Thursday, 19 November 2026. There is no UK-only hour on Newswire. Anyone selling you “midnight on Princes Street” is selling a high-street habit, not a Support article.

What 19 November means in the UK

The UK is on GMT in November. BST ends on 25 October 2026. So “19 November” is a Thursday on Greenwich time. Rockstar did not print 00:01 GMT. They did not print “when the East Coast unlocks.” The date is the date.

Arithmetic, labeled as arithmetic: if someone insists on converting a rumoured US Eastern midnight, 19 November 00:00 EST is 05:00 GMT the same Thursday. That is a fan conversion. It is not on rockstargames.com/VI.

Pre-load is the sentence that does carry a clock. Digital pre-load starts 12 November 2026 at local midnight. In the UK that is midnight GMT on the 12th. You download. You do not start the story. The November card is the pre-load checklist.

Xbox UK printed pounds. PlayStation’s UK page did not, this pass

Take-Two’s 24 June sheet is in US dollars: Standard US$79.99, Ultimate US$99.99. We are not converting that into sterling.

What we did fetch: Microsoft’s Xbox UK listing for Grand Theft Auto VI printed £69.99 Standard and £89.99 Ultimate, with the upgrade add-on at £20.00. That is store copy on xbox.com/en-GB this pass. It can move. We will not invent a GAME SKU or an Argos barcode to sit next to it.

PlayStation’s UK games page — playstation.com/en-gb — printed the 19 November date in the FAQ and a 19/11/2026 footer. It did not print a pound price on that marketing page this pass. The checkout lives behind “Buy at PlayStation Store.” We will not invent the number behind the button.

Rockstar’s own storefront is still the one Take-Two named. Start at rockstargames.com/VI. High-street names that typically list a Rockstar launch — GAME, Smyths, Amazon UK — are not cited here as official SKU pages. We do not rank them.

PEGI is the board. It has not certified VI

The UK uses PEGI. Take-Two printed “not yet rated” on 24 June 2026. PlayStation Support’s GTA VI offer article still says the age ratings are unconfirmed, then points at Grand Theft Auto V: PEGI 18 in Europe. That last clause is about V. The longer card is ratings.

We will not write “it’s PEGI 18” for VI. We will not paste V’s descriptors onto this box. If PEGI publishes a Grand Theft Auto VI certificate, this page gets the dated note.

Extended Look on a British clock

Thursday, 27 August 2026. Netflix at 3:00 p.m. ET is 8:00 p.m. BST in London. YouTube and the VI site at 9:00 p.m. ET is 2:00 a.m. BST on Friday the 28th. August is still summer time. That arithmetic is from the official ET clock. Rockstar did not print a London row. The full table lives on the Extended Look hub.

What r/GTA6 keeps asking from the UK

The thread that will not die: will GAME do a midnight launch, and is there a disc. Rockstar printed a download-code box, not a playable Blu-ray. Physical copies go on sale from 12 November so you can type the code and pre-load. A queue on Oxford Street is not on Newswire. If GAME posts an event, that is GAME’s poster, not a Rockstar hour.

PC is the other one. There is no official PC date. There is no official PC price in pounds. The empty GPU chart is system requirements.
